Gehry & Associates and The Jerde Partnership employed Mr. Ahn as a Project Architect and Project Manager prior to opening his own practice. Mr. Ahn has worked on various international projects in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. They include mixed-use developments in Korea and Egypt (including residential, retail, food, entertainment, and hospitality designs) and museums in Germany and Asia. Some of his domestic projects include the O’Hare International Airport Expansion, Outboard Marine Corporation, McGaw Pharmaceutical Facility, DirectBuy Warehouse Showrooms, and Dayton Hudson Marshall Fields Department Store in Chicago. Ken is proficient in various computer programs including 3D computer rendering and animation. In addition to architectural related programs, Mr. Ahn is skilled at using project management software and scheduling software. Lastly, he has co-authored an article, CADD Requirements to Support Corps of Engineers Construction Field Activities, published in ASCE annual report while working as a researcher at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
