Aaron Maxwell is founder of mobile web design agency Mobile Web Up. You can find him on the agency’s mobile business blog, where he writes about mobile and social media.
Almost every business is gearing up their mobile strategy. No secret why: Mobile is really taking off. There are already more people on the planet who communicate with text messages than with e-mail and more people who own phones than have credit cards, according to the latest statistics.
The difficulty is that there are many facets of mobile technology. Apps, websites and SMS form the broad foundation. But mobile payments and advertising are rich topics on their own. Where do you focus first?
Why websites need an SEO specialist? Video

I recently got this youtube video via Facebook from one of my trusted SEO Marketing Expert Greg Towsley from www.wsiqualitysolutions.com . The cartoon is so funny but hits the very core of the web design industry.
As I make websites for my clients, I often discuss with them their plans in marketing their website online. I give have since grouped them in 3 general categories
1. website owners that will learn about seo and educate themselves enough to make an impact on their website and perhaps consider hiring an SEO expert.
2. website owners that has no budget for any internet marketing professional but expects their website to have lots of visitors
3. website owners that has no idea on what search engine optimization means and has no interest in learning more about it.
Well, as you can imagine, the outcome after we launch their site in terms of sales and visitors.
This is my philosophy since I started making websites for people.. ” I would rather have an ugly website with lots of visitors vs. a beautiful website with no visitors at all”
Here is the video
Here is another good one for website design, lol.

Adrian Ong came to My Web Design Source back in 2009 to build his DJ and MC company website, www.letsmakeamemory.net
I wanted to highlight how his company website uses both the Joomla and WordPress Plaform. Both platforms work great together as the “corporate” site refers to the “blog” site and vise versa.
Here is his blog site that is seamlessly incorporated into his main website address.

I also like the way we presented his “photo gallery” as you can see at “The Works” menu tab.
We look forward in updating some parts of Adrian’s website !

School websites are a must these days and pre-schools are very close to my heart because I also have a little 3 year old attending one. Sandy Curtis came to My Web Design Source from Yuma, Arizona from a referral given by her daughter Constance Curtis from Hermosa Beach, California. Even though Sandy and I never met due to distance, we were able to conceptualize her dream of owning a website that reflects her business. It was important the parents can navigate easily through the site and find what they are looking for. More importantly, new prospective parents can gain more confidence and trust as they browse to Yuma Preschool’s website. First impression is very important and we are happy to launch Sandy’s website …
