PCS Credit Check came to MWDS wanting to revamp his current site by updating its look and feel. We studied his industry and studied the websites that he liked. It was important to emphasis the “action button” so that their clients can login to their 3rd party software that runs their credit check online system. We also customized the inquiry form so that the output can automatically be send to the client’s email.

Google Algorithm Helps Small Businesses

For those in the internet marketing and web design world, we have seen a pretty drastic change in how Google has changed how results show up in search engine. Several times a week, I often check my rankings in the these keywords as they are my target audience, “torrance web design, torrance web designer and web designer in torrance.” Most of my client are in my hometown and office, which is Torrance. I also cover Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Gardena surrounding cities.

I would like to share some great resources in my area that talks about this Google change which happened February / March 2011.

By the way, it was three Tuesdays ago that I noticed how my local search results shot my company website, My Web Design Source up in the Google search results. Every since, my phone has been “off the hook!” which has been great for business. Thanks Google!

Bill Austin came to us to build a corporate site for his established business in outsourcing manufacturing operations. Starting a new website from scratch can be a daunting tasks for our new clients. I recently came across this “FREE” online software ( no downloads required or flash ) that makes it easy for “non technical” computer user to easily create a “mock site” or web concepts so that we can make the web designer process easier and faster. New clients usually have an idea of what they want to include in their website but does not have a web tools to express those concepts other than in pencil and paper. Neputnians Womens is a non-profit organization in Manhattan beach that provides local scholarships, philanthropy and helps environmental causes.

This was a challenging and rewarding projects of late. It has action packed features for a membership based organization such as online membership database in which members can see “members’ only pages” and other members information that can be updated by each member. In addition, its joomla calendar module allows the public to see events and private access for members only events. The calendar is fully interactive and can be managed by the web administrator easily.
